Paralegal/Legal Assistant The candidate must have strong research and computer skills as well as an ability to learn on the job. Conducting factual research using online resources such as Lexis Advance, CourtLink and Google; Reviewing documents obtained in discovery; Summarizing deposition or trial transcripts; Reviewing and organizing case documents for depositions and court hearings; Assisting attorneys at depositions and court hearings; Proofread and cite-check complaints and briefs; Electronically file documents with courts; Downloading court filings from Electronic Court Filings; General administrative tasks including typing and red-lining legal pleadings and correspondence, preparing client bills, maintaining computer files and answering phones; Maintaining calendars and time entries for attorneys; Respond to new case inquiries and investigate potential claims; Communicate with members of classes we represent; Should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel. Experience as a litigation paralegal desirable. Bachelor's degree required.
