Unit DescriptionnGrow your career and develop a team that shares your desire to make a difference.n nSodexo is seeking an Executive Chef - Campus Dining to support Harper College in Palatine, IL.n nHarper College is a growing community college located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago in Palatine, IL.  This account includes a licenced Starbucks and Subway store along with a We Proudly Serve coffee kiosk, a full service cafe, catering with occasional events at the presidents house. This is a day shift opportunity M-F with occasional weekends. n nThe Executive Chef will be responsible for all innovative menu concepts, platforms and partnerships. They will mentor a team of 10-15 full time/student employees, a supervisor and manager. This candidate will also be responsible for fostering and maintaining an exceptional relationship with the client and will develop a team to support all dining operations at Harper College! n nThe successful candidate will:nn be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting; n ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;n have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations; n ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and/orn have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems. nnIs this opportunity right for you?
