Job Description:
Located in MI, this large ISO9000 / TS and AS9100 Certified manufacturing company runs parts for a wide variety of industries. They are heavily involved in the screw machine and rotary transfer industries, and are seeking a Quality Manager who has experience in a high volume job shop environment. To be considered you must have knowledge and experience with PPAPs, FMEAs, SPC, and Six Sigma techniques, and have a strong knowledge of all quality instruments and ISO standards. Responsibilities for this position will include supervision of quality personnel, providing shop floor support, gauging and inspection of first parts, as well as preparing all necessary documentation required for this ISO-9000 /TS and AS9100 Certified facility. An ASQE Certified individual is preferred, but candidates who have some formal quality training will also be considered.
