Senior Graphic Designer
Duties: The candidate is responsible for creating design solutions. Interpreting briefs, challenging the norm, and implementing creative and technically-precise design support on global marketing projects and initiatives. This position effectively meets user needs while maintaining branding standards and best-in-class graphic and digital design. Interpreting and implementing the creative vision across a broad range of projects across digital and print. Comfortable with applying best practice design across all mediums. Creating and encouraging conceptual exploration within the team, challenging briefs, brainstorming and verbalizing ideas, whilst bringing thought and focus to key messages. Using great communication and collaborative skills - working closely with other creatives, business development, creative agencies and marketing teams. Using best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products, services and processes, actively sharing experiences. Providing design support to the Marketing Department through the development of branding and high-end marketing materials. Providing design support to other functional areas outside of marketing that is consistent with the branding and design standards approved by the Senior Brand & Design Manager. Discuss marketing, business development and communication objectives with internal clients and project teams to ascertain the best visual solutions. Interpreting client needs, assessing requirements and identifying solutions to nonstandard requests. Solving complex problems and taking a new perspective using existing solutions. Teaming with Senior Brand & Design Manager to develop and maintain vendor lists and contacts. Teaming with staff and outside vendors on printing and finishing. Managing time effectively to support brand initiatives, assets and proactively introducing new tech and processes along with day-to-day workload. Leading teams or projects as necessary. Actively looking to develop presentation skills in client-facing situations, including the ability to influence, consulting and persuade clients whilst also explaining and substantiating design, brand and direction and responding to client challenges. Performing other duties as assigned.
