Unit Description
Sodexo is seeking a Chef Manager for Sunnyvale Schools in Sunnyvale, CA. The Chef Manager is charged with efficiently and effectively running the daily meal preparation operations that support local schools with breakfast and lunch each day. This role focuses on hands-on training of district employees. A culinary degree is required. 
 
The successful candidate will:

have oversight of day-to-day operations;
deliver high quality food service;
achieve company and client financial targets and goals; 
develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
develop strategic plans;
have large order experience and accuracy;
must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license;
flexibility with a team work mentality, assisting in kitchen/driving as needed;
create a positive environment; and/or
ensure Sodexo standards are met.

have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance; 
are Serve Safe certified,
have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service; 
prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or
demonstrate working knowledge of Sodexo Food Management System (FMS) The Market Connection (TMC) and is proficient in computer skills and report management experience. This does not apply to external candidates.

Position Summary
Responsible for the day to day execution of the menus & culinary deliverables.  May be responsible for smaller units within a multi-location.
Key Duties- Executes the culinary function.- Customer & Client satisfaction.- Handles administrative functions.
